Frank’s Fantastic Floors, known for completing their work on time, hired Jughead to help out with a 10,000 sq. ft. industrial floor coating project. The long, narrow building consisted of five 2,000 sq. ft. rooms lined up in a row — one room leading into the next.
After the floors were prepped, Frank and Jughead reviewed the 4:1 by volume mix ratio for the Floropoxy Satin, as well as how much 100% Solids Epoxy Colorant to add to each mix. Then Frank drove off to another job, leaving his new employee to install the concrete floor coating on his own.
The first day, Jughead managed to coat 2 rooms with Floropoxy Satin. The next day, he applied epoxy to the floor in 1 room. The following day, Jughead managed to install only 1/2 room with the product.
When Frank returned after 3 days, he couldn’t believe his eyes — the job was still not done! “Are you telling me you coated less and less area each day?!” shouted Frank, “What the [bleep] is going on?!!”
“Boss,” whined Jughead, pointing to a 5-gallon bucket, “I just can’t go any faster. Each day I keep getting further and further away from the paint can!”
